Yes I like it. The gulf is like a desert when you get out that far but you can see the ridges even if they are not big. It was an investment, but glad I did and worth it for me. My old card would loose everything bottom wise about 25 mikes out, and did not have as good detail inshore.

Ok got and installed my new card. Went fishing yesterday and was out 50 miles. It was good. I thank it is better for inshore but all in all I am happy. I think it’s worth the upgrade

I believe you can go to the Garmin websight look up different displays go to the installation part and download the cutout diagram.

Not sure what you are asking but my Canyon 271 deck drains go out the side. Look at some picture online and you will see the deck drains going out the side it's a 2022 model

Don’t know your boat setup, but what about mounting it to your swim ladder. That way you could get it lower in the water but also raise it out of the water while under way.

Another option is the vhf315. You mount the unit under the dash and then mount the control anywhere you like.
