    Fuel tanks

Has anyone gone to Poly tanks when replacing? Thinking about going 2x 100 gallon poly tanks on my 265. Don’t need 250 gallon capacity it came with. Might be easier to install.

Handling of a 2015 305 grady with twin 300 yamahas

I understand where you’re coming from. Spent all my life running 20-28 ish CC’s, with the last 15 running an old school 25 SeaVee. I got your little sister, 265 Express. Took some time to figure it out. Actually thought I made a mistake. The first couple times I ran it. I thought it rode like...

    Polishing fuel

I had my auxiliary tank polished when I bought my Grady White as the prior owner never used it. It’s pretty impressive how they can clean it up.

New Canvas - what to do

You can always call Linda down there and ask. Mine were in the boxes for 2-3 weeks before I could install them. Had no issues. They did a great job on my 265.

2001 Grady 265 scupper reposition height

My scuppers are fine with 200 Zuki’s on a 2001. Put SKR while you’re at it!

265 Express Rub Rail End Caps...

Do you still have your old ones? I hit mine with a heat gun, sanded them, and painted them. Looks great.

2001 GW 265 Fuel tank fabricator for repower mission

Wow. Crazy prices out there. 200 Zuki’s were 38k out the door here. That tank estimate sounds high, but I agree you don’t need 250 gallons with the modern 4 strokes. Go ahead and put SeaKeeper Ride on her while you are at it.

2001 Grady White 265 Express repower questions.

Repowered a 2001 with 200 Zuki’s. Did transom cap, removed oil tanks, left fill’s in place, didn’t want to spend on fiberglass. Zuki’s were almost 10k cheaper than Yamahas in my neck of the woods. Got mechanicals, but kinda wish I would have gone FBW. Still playing with props, trying LF3’s next...

WTB : Isinglass Enclosure and Boat Cover for 228 Seafarer

Call Lee at AJ Canvas in NC. They are the OEM canvas supplier for GW. She has most model’s dimensions, and if she doesn’t you can send her your old set. All you have to do is put the snaps on yourself, which is not a big deal

    JACK PLATE Anyone??

I had a Bob’s hydraulic jack plate on an old 25 SeaVee. 14 years without any issues. I would call them for their recommendations. And yes, game changer, for sure.

    Express 265 handling

I’m seriously thinking about adding Sea Keeper Ride to my 265 this Winter. Price is getting more reasonable and everyone that has them loves them. They now have a low cost option to fill in the recessed tab issue. Might be worth a look.

Isinglass Replacement Cost - 307 Freedom

Another vote for A&J Canvas. Sent my old enclosure to them and they used it for a template. Had one panel that was a little off and they took it back, fixed it , and sent it back at no charge. Way cheaper than any of my local shops. 2 week turnaround. They do all the OEM canvas work for GW.
