Repowering a 2001 Fisherman with t top with a new 3.3 L Yamaha 250. Looking for thoughts on prop. Having looked at the Grady website, i'm thinking a SWSII 17 inch would be great. But I'm also wondering what the same prop in 18 inch would do?? Old motor was a 2001 OX250 that turned 5300 rpm...

usually yamalube, but just once used some mercury oil. I was told that it was a bit thicker than yamaha oil and would clog yamaha filters

yes, i pulled and cleaned the tank. I was having difficulty in getting it reinstalled. Finally got it back in today. Thanks!

I had a clogged oil filter on my 250 OX66 which i replaced. Now trying to get oil tank reconnected to the remote filler. If i could pull the the remote filler cap and hose out, it would make the job a lot easier. Ideas??

How difficult is it to change the oil filter on oil tank on a 222. The motor is a OX66 250 hp Yamaha if it makes any difference. Thanks!
