“Typical” dried out caulk on transom cap edges and corrosion on bang plate. Decided to pull the engines and re seal with 5200 and a fresh bang plate. Was surprised to see the aluminum angle iron underneath the cap. I guess good? Strange design in my opinion.

Picture is looking at the stern of the boat. Correct I was worried about basically the void or pocket of turbulence while underway. If installed in the pocket would be a 0 degree versus a 20 degree. I think I’m going to go infront of pocket approx 5” and towards the keel a touch

Nice i plan to put lowrance hds12 in lower left. Probably move 4 Yamaha gauges up to upper area and probably do some sort of glove box also. Then overhead dual vhf radio and switch panel for spreader lights.

New to forum just got a 1998 272 sailfish. Original power low hours, sitting on the hard for past 7 or so years. Redid fuel systems engines run great. Will be focusing on cosmetics all winter, new dash panels, electronics upholstery and gel coat repair on hatches. Would love to see some dash...
