A 205 Tournament with a 150 hp weighs in at 3285 lbs. When you load 4 adults into the boat, fuel and gear, you’re looking at 4000 lbs+. Just seems like a lot of weight for a 150.

I’m on the hunt for a used 205 Tournament and all that I’m finding for sale are powered with a 150 Yamaha. Maybe that’s why they are still for sale in the middle of the summer? I don’t want to buy an underpowered boat that I’ll have trouble selling one day. I currently have a Scout 222 Abaco...
