I do have the actuators in place. It is a 228G. Actuators and tabs with no pump or tubing. The control is on the console. I have ordered 18 x 12 Bennett Hydraulic complete kit.

A little advice needed. The boat has stock 9x12 trim tabs in place but no tubing, pump, or actuator. I will be upgrading from a 225 2 stroke to a 250 HP 4 stroke. I am looking to put a Bennett trim tab system in place, a complete new unit. The 2 suggested for this boat are the 18x12 and the...

I May try the sand bags to see how she handles but my guess is the 80 Lbs want make that much of a difference. Found a low hr 2016 SUZ 250 for $5200. Hard to turn that down. Thanks guys for all your advice and info.

I have found a great deal on a Suzuki 300 HP. It has a 30" shaft not a 25" shaft. Will this be a issue for me?

what are you doing with your old Yamaha? I think I met you over by Mac Daddys. I looked at your boat as I have 1 being restored and I also have a Lund.

I just purchased a 1988 228G in May. In decent shape but since I own a Lund boat as well I am doing a complete restore other than re-power. That will come next year. Cant wait to take mine out.
