    Your local Grady dealer should either have them or be able to get them. Thats where I went to replace mine!

    I didn't notice a difference to be honest with you. I could see if you didn't keep things greased up where it could add some resistance over time.

    I did the same so far it works great! My last 228 I put a remote TR1 on it, it wasn't a bad set up but I prefer the setup I have now as it allow me or anyone else to control it from the wheel!

    Just bought my second 943XSV for my dash remodel on my 228, keep in mind if your running other devices (Radar) on the network and you would like the two units to interface you will need a network port (GMS 10) as the 943's only have one network input. The GMS 10 is $200-$250.
