has anyone replaced livewell hose on a 282 Sailfish/

I can't offer much help on the type of hose, I went to the marina's parts counter and told them what i was doing and he gave me the hose that they used for rigging livewells. i did find that the factory hose makes a sharp turn towards the centerline of the boat at the stern under the storage bin...

I have a 282 sailfish and at some point the hose for the shower in the head has been replaced with a shorter hose. You cant pull it out far enough to hang it on the hook to use it as intended. Other than going through Grady does anyone know of a source for a full length replacement to get mine...

sail fish splash well drain tubes.

I might as well share a picture of the finished product. I used a Moeller flanging tool to install the tubes, i left the tubes about 3/16" proud of the transom face and the tool rolled a perfect round face on the bit that was sticking out of the hole. A quick clean up and it was as good as new.

sail fish splash well drain tubes.

I got the tubes installed today, the old ones came out with out too much of a fight, I found nice solid dry wood inside which was a very welcome sight. The install was straight forward and came out very nice. 2-1/2 hours from start to finish. The boat is finally ready and is going to get...

    re bedding cleats

one last project I'd like to get knocked out on my boat is re bedding the cleats. The port forward cleat just aft of the anchor pulpit would be the first one i go after. Are the nuts on the underside held in place somehow or am i going to need to remove some of the material on the inside of the...

has anyone replaced livewell hose on a 282 Sailfish/

to close this out for anyone who may stumble upon this thread in the future the access to the inlet connection to the live well is from the mid berth. If you remove the panel on the aft bulkhead for the mid berth you access the sewage holding tank and the inlet to the livewell is easily reached...
