    I should’ve noted that the vessel is no longer wet slipped. Thanks for the reply. As far as acting as a sacrificial anode, wouldn’t that be true as well for boats made entirely out of aluminum?

    Repowering a 2000 222 fisherman.

    Not sure what motor you have now but I’m in the process of repowering my Explorer 246g. I currently have a 2000 Yamaha 250 OX66 2 stroke and am repowering with a Mercury 300 Pro XS 4 stroke. I am actually going down in weight. Yamaha 250: 540lbs Mercury 300: 527lbs

    I have searched and read lots of threads about how to refinish my aluminum Grady drive bracket. One thing I haven’t seen discussed is the possibility of cleaning it up and leaving it unfinished.     Replacing carpeted cabin headliner

    We are contemplating having the headliner replaced in our '92 246G. Has anyone ever done this or had it done? I imagine it would be fairly labor intensive. Also, is the material used available from GW? Thanks, Rex
