Anybody have anything less than a 200 H.p on there seafarer? This boat shop says he could repower my 22 seafarer with a 150 mercury with the right pitch and it would push as hard as my 225 yamaha two stroke. I remember seeing Defiance with 150 in brochures. If you have tell me your experience.

There probably a plug in and diagnose shop. They can only read check engine lights.

I have a 22 seafarer. Someone installed a shifter with dual handles so they could run a second steering station. I'm looking for the original shifter. I have a original Yamaha 225 two stroke.

I think I need to keep working the tank. I will drain the fuel separater and inline filter. Frustrating cause I'm itching to hit the islands for White sea bass and I don't want to break down across the channel.

My 22 Seafarer sat for over 6 years I jacked the front up siphon everything I possibly could from the pick up. I put like 10 gallons of 91 in it. Ran great but I'm getting to the bottom of the tank and it's acting up the motor. I'm thinking pulling the sending unit and just cleaning the tank out...
