I assume you mean to say that there is a pocket of water IN the port storage compartment. Sometimes those drain holes get clogged. shoot water in that drain hole with a spray nozzle to make sure it's running free.

After a few tries it get's those dockhands laughing when I ask them the brand of the outboard.

I found just the spot on my boat

On a 2012 F350 they are easy. there is a metal clip which attaches to the rail and the injector slides in to the clip and also pushes in to the hole. I don't know how it differs from a '06 F250
