I assume you're going with the V8 version? I repowered my 1984 Seafarer with the I6 supercharged version -2018 model. I am running a 17P Rev4 4 blade. Originally had a19P mirage 3 blade. Dialed right in and very pleased with how it handles.
I went with power steering (which I think is a requirement with Verado), DTS and vessel view. What outboard are you replacing? If you haven't run with digital, you will love it. I really enjoy TROLL mode and dialing in the speed in 10 rpm increments. I troll on Lake Erie and it works great. No kicker motor needed. I have ~190 hrs on mine....send oil out annually and it looks great.

I just watched your video the other day.
I am replacing the original Yamaha F225 which was just not making me feel comfortable being so under powered. I purchased the boat from a estate sale and the price was definitely right.
Yes, it is a V8 Verado with power steering.
I do a lot of trolling for striped bass and looking forward to the troll mode.

I'm thinking about the same application/300 Mercury Sea Pro V8 on my 1998 Seafarer. Anybody have performance information on this combination?
