Replacing the strainer and valve on my 1994 Grady white Chase, trying to figure out what parts they used, I picked up a Groco strainer from west marine looks a little wider, and the screws are not going to line up. I am thinking of trying Perko Strainer, and I am assuming it is a 3/4 intake. I couldn't find anything on the valve. Has anyone done this before?

Chances are about 99% that those two valves shown are NPT threads on both ends, judging by the amount of thread showing on the thru hull. They screw on about two turns and jam, and make a very poor connection. You need a seacock with NPS straight threads, that will screw down a couple of inches onto that through hull.
