Dual gas input issues

Be careful pulling the sending unit. If the tank is full you will have fuel all over the place.

Not the perfect answer but was able to get both tanks fueled today on land via a slow gas pump. Both had approximately 30 gallons in as figured. So good news the boat is in the water.

Did encounter a steering issue but that I can fix when I get back from a business trip.

Appreciate everyone’s comments. My fuel lines were not all hard as I expected when digging under the floor making me think they may have been replaced prior to my purchase. Was able to move around some so hopefully…

The big fuel hoses from filler to the tank or the fuel lines from tank to filter?
The fuel lines from tank to outboard can get hard but ned to be very old, they stay much softer than the filler hoses what have a steel spiral inside to keep them from kinking.
If you write about the fuel lines from tank to filter then they where probably replaced to avoid troubles with ethanol blend gasoline what can destroy/dissolve old type fuel lines rather quickly.

However, glad to hear that it worked out and sorry that you have troubles with steering, what troubles?
ou may find the answers doing a search or open a new tread regarding that.

Minimal steering but sure I need to bleed the line and add fluid. Easy fix.

Kinds sounds like it's not an answer, at all :)

I mean, you're still at the same point, right? Having to fill slowly?

No because even when trying to use a five gallon gas can to fill both tanks coughed up gas. Didn’t have any of that and the gas was much faster then me by hand.
