Hi. Looking for some advice around my city water inlet on a 2016 330 express. I've noticed the onboard water pump located midships cycling when 12v waterpump powered but not in use. So in searching for the leak I found the shurflo water inlet for the city/marina water leaking inside the stern bulkhead. I can't find a rebuild kit for it (its #183-020-14) but the complete new version looks real similar and is only about $50. So to my question - can anyone speak to removing the OEM chrome plated exterior bezel on the stern? It seems to be on there really good - it has 4 screws easily removed but is it glued with 4200 or something that is going to make this swap really difficult? Thanks!

Update - project completed. Just in case anyone runs into this problem - the inlet comes thru the transom and is accessible from the inside. By removing 4 screws the valve will detach in 2 pieces without having to do anything on the outside bezel. The valve was full of crud (probably dried calcium or..?) - anyway it can be disassembled and cleaned and the rubber o-ring and gasket both looked good so I cleaned and reinstalled them with a bit of new silicone grease on each and that solved the issue. The water pump pressurized the system and turned off as it should. Hopefully this will be a long term fix - I am the original owner of the boat so it took 10 years to become a problem lol. Happy boating !
