I purchased the 2007 228 that was at Southeastern Marine in Richmond a few weeks ago. I am working on the Minn- Kota Terrova that is in the box in the picture. Updates to follow...

Here are a few pics of the project. The Helix 15 is obnoxiously large, but was on clearance at BPS. The 87" Terrova is a beast. I put the 36V battery in the large fish box behind the helm seat. Finishing up wiring and mounting the transducer soon. Enjoy!

We found it on Amazon. It was about $25, it's thin but keeps the sun from blasting the engine.
