one other thing. if you leave the charger on constantly it could boil your battery if it is not operating properly. i myself only use the charger when i am on the boat, and my batteries are well maintained. ron
a few trouble shooting ideas.
1. id all circuits on the starboard battery.
2. ensure battery switches are all off
3. turn off main breaker on battery switch panel (and windlass if there is one)
4. make sure red button kill switch on thruster is off
at this point only constant feeds should be in...
from what i've read, boating and CO are a big issue. you can probably find articles in the Boat US mag. transom riding on big boats with seating areas is an issue they had focused on. we always make sure of good airflow when travelling at low speed.
you might want to pickup a good battery...
these are the props i ran. sorry i could not properly post the PB and the Yamaha site didn't have archives. the prop is in RED
i'm not a tech, but even i know there is something wrong with the numbers you posted.
new ones with f300's...
can't help with those, but i put XL4s on my 2009 with F350s. virtually no ventilation, increased bite, and stable mpg over a wide rpm range. i lost about 3-4 mpn on top end, but i don't do top end. good luck, ron
not for nuttin', but in the old days we cobbled together a 2x4 frame and pulled a cheap tarp over the boat to keep leaves and snow out. at some point, it became necessary to hermetically seal up your boat for the off season.
for a short cut, get a multimeter and see if you get power on the other side of the switch when flipped on . do the breaker also. i can't remember the circuit so you may have to check continuity first (battery off). good luck, ron
i think that you will definitely want to use an ablative. the micron being used is durable but does it's job. in 2017 i had the hull blasted and fully repainted (bad original job, antifoul was peeling off the primer in sheets). primer, 2 coats blue and 2 coats black. i repaint the black every...
can't help directly, but the 330 gets 1.0 to 1.1 consistently at cruise (3800 @ 28mph) with 4 blades depending on fuel level. micron bottom paint semi ablative. not much different than the yamaha pb and i have all the factory options on it. not sure if it would be anything noticeable for...
