Does it look post production? It sounds like he set up a washdown pump or a livewell pump. If it was production, the pump would be below deck with a plumbed in & out port and the wires would DEFINITELY not be exposed. If I'm not mistaken, that's an insulated fish box (should hold ice all day...
MAS Epoxies makes a product which is the reverse pattern of your non-skid (they have almost every pattern) which you put over your fresh glasswork to create matching non-skid.
And don't forget to use heat shrink butt connects, ring terminals, spades, and heat shrink tubing.
IMHO, if you're not going to heat shrink your work, don't bother doing it because you'll be doing it over again next year. "do it once, do it right".
The scuppers are supposed to be right at water level. The boat has an elevated cockpit above the waterline. Thats why the scup drains go straight down to a 90 degree then out. Gravity at its best. Hence, a self-draining cockpit.
I have the same problem with barnicles building up in my scup...
I agree Bob. Just becuase it says 25' on the side doesn't mean it's 25'! The transients are the worst. They call ahead and reserve a 30' slip for their "30 footer" which sticks 5 feet in to fairway because of the swim platform & pulpit.
That's why I suggested the 228. When it's all said & done...
I think the 228 is about the biggest one you'll fit in there unless you're allowed to stick into the fairway a little. Does he want a bracket or Eurotransom? Pulpit? They all add to your LOA. Once you put the engine(s) up, your adding measurable distance to the LOA.
Buster,
what seems to be the confusion?

you know, there are excellent products outside the 3M family and some of us on here actually kind of know what we're talking about.
Lifecaulk and Lifeseal (in the black & yellow tubes.)
I would not recommend 5200 for the thru-hulls if you plan on ever changing them again. Check the curing rates. I believe the 4000 is by ambient temp. and the 4200 & 5200 are relative humidity.
I found customers always asked for 5200...
While I too like Garmin GPS, the first thing you stated is fishing. I would seriously consider the Raymarine. Their DSM (digital Sounding Module) technology is awesome. Twin E120's would look pretty sweet!
After having the boat wrapped last year, I untied the belly bands, loosened the wrap around the engine and worked my way forward loosening the wrap. then went around to the front and pulled it off. Rolled it up and put it under the deck with the frame (which was from the previous time I had the...
I wouldn't recommend it for the simple fact of the fumes that it will give off.
Small marine heaters are available for your exact application.

I left mine in last year and had no ill-effects. I was expecting the screen to be trashed from the LCD freezing & rupturing but it powered right up in the spring. Phewww!
