Is there a place to get actual dimensions on various models?

The printed brochure that you can archive on the Grady website. They usually list cockpit square footage and cockpit depth in addition to beam and length. At least they have in previous years.

Suggestions for an outboard motor for a 1978 "Duke 175"

I would go with a Mercury 115 Pro XS for the weight (lightest of the bunch) search the internet for retro graphics for the boat and motor

    What should I do? Repower

I bought my Grady with a blown motor (knew that when I purchased it) I repowered with a new Optimax. In hindsight I would have put a new powerhead on my 200 EFI because a few years later I wanted to upgrade to a bigger boat

Which 0X66 is the good 0X66?

I also heard not so stellar feedback on the 300 HPDI. Maybe the 250 also. I fish on a 25 Sailfish pushed by twin 200 HPDI. Those motors have over 2000 hours and run very well

Grady white marlin 300 helm chair rocking.

There should be a vinyl bushing between the pedestal mount and the chair itself. They do crack. Try a new bushing. If that doesn't resolve the issue a new mount and pedestal should be less expensive than a new seat

    285 or 307

Forgive me if I sound snarky but you're the only one who knows the answer to that question. You have to consider if a boat that is two feet shorter and a foot narrower is going to fit how you plan to boat in NJ. For me a 285 is significantly larger than my current boat. You are downsizing...

    1999 Adventure 208 Hull Problems

After rereading this and realizing what you have for power this plate may be the best course of action. It seems the most cost effective and simplest repair. You will likely get another decade out of the boat

    1999 Adventure 208 Hull Problems

You present an interesting scenario. I am a 96 Adventure owner and while I would never neglect my boat to the point of being detrimental to safety, how much am i going to invest in an almost 30 year old boat that I own? A 7k dollar transom job is equal to what I purchased my boat for in...

Cabins of the 226/228 vs. 232 vs. 248/258 vs. 268

The only one of these models with a separate head is the 268 ...Idk if that is an issue for you if someone has to go and people are in the cabin while overnighting. Have you considered a 25 Sailfish and powering it with a single outboard? They are usually a twin-engine boat, but I have...

    225 Freedom/Tournament VS Pursuit 235 Offshore/Denali

I am pretty sure when the Tournament added the head the jump seats and helm fish boxes went away. You can find a 225 with twin pedestal seating. You could switch to that set up from a lounger.

Replacing thru hulls on 2000 Adventure, Is it worth the trouble? does not look easy to do

96 Adventure owner here. There is no easy convenient way to change them but since they are bronze they really shouldn't fail. Plastic thru hulls will dry rot and crack over time. Glacierbaze is 100 percent correct it's the hoses you need to concern yourself over. Its a job you can do...

Trailering a 1992 Grady White Sailfish

I think you are asking ALOT from a half ton truck. Paper specs may say you can do it. but its going to be a frustrating nerve wracking experience. Do not overlook the beam of a Sailfish either. It legally requires permits to tow on highway because it is wider than 8 foot 6 inches.
