Wow, normally the ocean dump switch is behind a key, so I have to turn the key to on position and of course open the valve which otherwise should be closed unless over 3 miles offshore. What a mess that would make but at least it worked so they serviced that area for you as well. H

As said it is designed for that but don't let stuff stay in tank too long and dry out. You can theoretically at least attach a hose with a connector to the outside of boat when in a rack and flush with fresh but it is a mess to keep the hose feeding the pump at low pressure, u cannot force with.

The waste hoses may not leak fluid but vapors when they get old. So a color test may not reveal a bad hose. If that id the odor and it is easy!!!! To replace hoses just do it. Now assuming the boat is over 15 years old. Otherwise just us those left over Covid ..... not really. h
