    GW 228 ski pylon recommendation

Since your kicker is about 8” inwards of the main engine mount, I think it may still work. The TurboSwing doesn’t get wide for a bit and also installs upwards. Few more pics included here to show you.

    GW 225 Tournament 2005 250 Yamy

Pictures will help. If you’re the only one on boat of course that means only your weight is added to starboard. Also are you lacking any of the heavy options on the port side like a head or back to back seating? Do you have both batteries installed correctly near centerline?

I did a bit of research and am thinking of installing this system. I like that after 5 seconds from cutoff, it allows the passengers to turn the engine back on...

    GW 228 ski pylon recommendation

Highly recommend the turbo swing option. Have installed on two Gradys I’ve owned and feels like a single ski pylon even when slalom skiing. Best part is no major fiberglass or custom work, protects against docking damage/bad other boat operators, and great option to hold when swimming around boat.

    Tongue weight for gulfstream

Wouldn’t have made a difference because the hull shape goes upwards forward of where the bunks are so boat would never touch.

    Tongue weight for gulfstream

Just purchased a 2015 Freedom 225 and had to do a few iterations of moving the boat forward as well. Problem was with the engine mounted on the aluminum swim platform, it’s probably more like the overall length of this boat in question. Ended up pushing all the way forward as possible and got...

    swim ladder for Gulfstream

Just replaced mine. Grady confirmed the part number and gave me this number for the Windline supplier. 310-516-9812 They all look the same but best to get OEM part so you don’t need to drill new holes (5 min to install).

    Freedom Bow Storage Gets Wet

Due to how the latches are situated you can add a thicker piece of weather stripping. Even though our 225 had some factory weatherstrips, just added more as shown since water was still getting in.

    96 Tournament 192 Repower

We repowered our ‘98 with a 2015 Evinrude ETec 150hp replacing the previous ‘98 Evinrude Ficht 150hp. Ended up with the same prop but did test one step up just in case. Basically landed on the lowest pitch that hit full RPMs at low load.
