    OX66 250

My single OX66 250 gets approx 1.5 mpg on a good day. Plus 20$ every 50 gallons of fuel for 2 stroke oil. 60k seems way over priced. 60k now. possibly 6-10k for transom and 25-30k x2 for a repower. I think you can find a better cared for boat, turn-key, ready to go for much...

    OX66 250

There is an expression that fits here. Rode hard and put away wet. I would walk away from this one. Unless you can get it dirt cheap. Looks like a lot of corners have been cut.... Bang cap looks horrible. Possible transom replacement. Corrosion everywhere. cheap deck hardware...

Don't laugh, but I want to go crappie fishing with my 376 Canyon

You could also bump troll. Not necessarily the best or easiest but it will work. in and out of gear. Bump it in gear, bump in neutral. troll bag, a few 5 gallons buckets tied off. or a trolling plate over the prop. My single Yahama 250 at idle runs about 2.5-2.8 mph.

Service Manual for wiring, plumbing, and hull structure - GW235

I just checked the grady site. Apparently the older models have much more information available than the newer models. I seriously have every wire run, wire gauge, fuse size and location, wire color, fitting location, ect. I printed and laminated them. 2 copies. 1 at home, the other...

On Gradys site I found, wiring diagrams, wire colors, plumbing routing, locations, ect for my 92 model year. I would start there. What year is the boat??

I have a 1995 24' Explorer. I can't figure out how to fill up the livewell behind the port cockpit seat.

I use the port livewell for a fish box mostly. The rear livewell gets used the most for bait, I had to add a water pick up, seacock, plumb and wire the pump.

I have a 1995 24' Explorer. I can't figure out how to fill up the livewell behind the port cockpit seat.

2 options. Location of the seacock is going to vary depending if the original owner has the aux fuel tank option. Single tank the seacock is under the forward deck plate. There should be y valve control knob to the port side of the livewell. It will direct flow from the raw water...

    Deale, Md

Talked to them a few weeks ago about changing VST filters. No longer work on 2 strokes because they are so ...... finicky (for lack of a better word) first- oil pump, next week- vst filters, regulator screen, following week- spark plugs. Ill agree it's tough to keep them running in top...

Damn small world man! I get fuel at Tri State's fuel dock!. They unfortunately won't work on OX66 engines anymore. I have used them for small odds and ends! My marina is about a block down the street from their showroom.

One for the Yamaha 4 Stroke/Fuel System Gurus

swap one of the fuel lines (low pressure to vst) with a clear hose temporally to check for air bubbles. Should be zero air. If air present keep swapping fuel lines back to the tank until you find solid fuel in the clear hose. Im going to also ask the obvious.... fuel bulb is installed...

twins is more so to be able to get back from 60 miles off shore in the event of an engine failure.

I follow what you're saying and possibly may be over thinking it. I couldn't find fittings that would connect to a seacock in the length needed to reach out through the transom to shut off in the case of emergency. Thats my thinking.

    Side Curtains

Add some straps and snaps and roll them up. I unzip the front panels and leave about an inch zipped. Its a pain to get them started again, especially on the starboard side because of the electronics box. 99% of the time that's what I do with mine, unless its sloppy and I know it's going...
