    Backing into slip + fenders

Our slips are 2 boats per "space". We have no pilings...not very common here in MA, best as I can tell. I used to run a starboard stern line to a middle cleat on the dock but stopped doing that. Now I leave just a little slack and let my spring line (midship to stern) keep the boat on the...

    2002 222 center console valuation

My 2006 w/F250 paid 30k in 2020. Suggesting you look at a couple of things: transom/stringers/deck (for rot & soft spots) & engine (look at maintenance records). Strongly suggest a survey. Things get pricey quick. Great boat though...I love mine.

    Backing into slip + fenders

Ok good people. Thanks for your help. Here are a couple of photos: Material is very vinyl...not sure how well it will hold up (dock fenders were $28 a piece...we'll see). What a b*tch to screw them in - 4 stainless steal lag bolts w/stainless washer on the top & 2 stainless steal w/washer on...

I see how you did your dock fenders...might go that route, i saw someone else that got like 2x 60" ones and liked that idea too. i will definitely be getting a corner piece. love the goldens...my black lab would be a panting mess on our boat.

    Fisherman 222 Transom modifications

The motor well can be a PIA. At the dock I am at, we have a dock box we put a lot of "crap" in and are able to utliize the center console space more for coolers, bags and stuff, ect. Thought....do you have the livewell on your leaning post? that turns into a great cooler for drinks, samiches...

    Backing into slip + fenders

Good observation. I have about 2.5feet from the dock to skeg/prop. Use a nice spring line to make sure the hull doesn't move closer. I dont pull in as the slips on the side of the dock I am at are relatively unprotected, lots of chop, waves and wind. Also, my transom is wide open - bow out...
