I have a 2000 192 and love it. I fish so it's perfect for me, 8 ft beam has plenty of room.
If the hull is solid and the price is good, I wouldn't hesitate. Good luck with whatever you decide.
I ues GEICO and get Boat US towing included because they own Boat US. So If your savings paying $175 and up for towing and saving $100 on the policy you might want to look into changing, my boats a 2000. Good Luck and stay safe.
Just a side note boys, make sure you have a quality tool set. Those Harbor Freight tool sets might make you feel good, but if you ever have to use them you will be sorry, as they break with any resistance.
Be safe, have fun.
I just got a RayMarine Element 9 this year and I am very happy with it, I fish a lot so my hands are not always the cleanest so I didn't want to touch screen. Good luck with your search.
Go on BellaBeachyPhotography Free Boater's Photos Facebook tap photos for a Season of Boats on the Water. I'm sure you will find same boat as your's. You never know where she going to be, she takes great photos and post them
Have you ever considered leaving your boat in a slip or on the trailer at a marina that has a ramp. That way you don't have to worry about trailering and you get the boat that you want. Also depending on how old your dad is, if the boat is in a slip he can go out himself on days when you're not...
Hanging in till 12/2 stripers are everywhere , yesterday they were inside the break wall at my marina, all keepers. Out front all cows best day fishing in years for me
