That right there is "OCD Vision" and Ky has it down to an art. My advice to the OP is follow his lead and it'll be new once done. Nice work. and congrats
I use the built ins on the boat. No need for extended trips, etc. have a 325#/day Manitowoc ice machine 50’ from the boat. Scored it for $75 off local Craigslist.
I say go for it...It's yours and if you prefer the new stripes - vs - the old, by all means. I'll be doing the same this winter so post up pictures of the finished product either way.
I've got 8' dock lines, just the store bought 5/8"
150' of 3/8" braided anchor line
~6' of anchor chain
Unless you have a windlass 27' of chain is quite a bit to fool with every time you anchor. Sounds to me like that's a bunch of gelcoat repairs waiting to happen.
I'm on a 222 Fisherman
I’m having to set mine up again after Flo. I can probably get them close from the old marks but it always helps to have a baseline measurement.
I’m pretty sure my timbers are 2”x10”’s
Thx in advance
I'm in a 2003 with matching F225. 46 mph top at 6000 rpm, 4200 cruise at 3 mpg. 900 hours on original owner boat, motor and trailer.
- I'm 6'-3" no chance to stand up. I can measure if you want. Wife and kids haven't complained yet.
- Ours should be green board -non rotting- wood. Look at...
My golly man, you've got to be as nervous as a hooker in church for that sled to get there. I've been enjoying following your saga. Congrats, safe boating and tight lines skipper!
