what prop did you end up running? those are pretty good MPG #'s. I get 1.7mpg with 17" inertia ecos with twin 250 verados

you need a finer pitch prop. assuming you are trimmed up, no tabs, WOT etc..... general rule is 200rpm/1" of pitch. so if you have a 19" pitch, get a 17" pitch of the same make/model.

if your not getting enough RPM's you need a finer pitch prop. the standard rule is 200rpm increase every 1" of pitch you go down
