    I recently purchased a 1992 GW Seafarer 22, which had the original hydraulic steering. The steering is can be difficult at times, very stiff. I was hoping that I could get some feedback on converting to Fly By Wire. I have seen several systems for sale and was wondering if it is a good move.

    Adding a fresh water wash down

    I have a 1992 Seafarer 22 that doesn't have a wash down tank. Do they make tanks I could add. There is a large empty space under the floor in front of my gas tank. I was thinking of adding one there.

    Fuel Tank Size

    I have a 1992 GW Seafarer 22 and am trying to find out the size of my tank without taking the floor out. Does anyone have any idea. I just has a new Suzuki 200 installed and need to program the gage for accurate calculation on fuel consumption. Thanks for you help.

    Trim Tabs for a boat that never had them

    I don't mind screwing in multiple screws for each tab as long as the screw is not penetrating all the way thru the transom. My goal is to install trim tabs with out multiple screw holes that go all the way thru the transom....

    I understand you must drill holes, but whether they go all the way through is my concern. I see some installations putting screws in, but the screw hole and screw doesn’t go all the way through the transom. That is the type of tabs I want. Thanks for your input.

    1992 GW Seafarer Drain Plug

    I found out my dilemma... The drain plug is 1/2 inch but it is a drain plug with a drain plug inside it, which is a smaller diameter. I removed the 1/2 inch with the whole and put a normal 1/2 inch and now I'm in business. Thanks for all the advice.

    I measured my drain plug and the whole is about 1/2 inch. I bought 1/2 inch but they are to big. Does any one have a boat like this and know what size drain plug to use. I know this sounds crazy but I'm not sure on how to measure the whole and which drain plug to buy. Thanks for any help!

    I recently purchased a 1992 Seafarer 22. The windshield has many stickers on it that have faded and need to be taken off. Does anyone know if this boats windshield is Plexiglas or glass?
