    Hey jekyl - can you explain or provide photos on the beef up? 2 of my 3 bolts have pulled through the bottom edge of the platform and I need the same repair. I was thinking of some sort of metal plate along the bottom edge but would like to see how you did it.

    I agree with all of the above (do it in sections, use painters tape) but for the factory perfect look, I use GE Silicone Sanitary 1700 Series Sealant in Almond. Exact same stuff they use in the factory. You'll need to use mineral spirits for that final wipe to get it smooth.

    Regarding your line storage, I put a set of these on my Tacos and they work great. Not sure the diameter on your Lees but these should work. I have them spaced about 2 feet apart on each pole and with about 4 or 5 wraps, my lines are neatly stowed. http://www.rivermarinesupply.com/xcart/...

    Anyone use Rupps Alum Guard Wipes

    Just tried it this weekend. I think it provides protection but your metal ends up very slick. Not good if you grab rails to get around the boat. I'd also use a surgical glove next time because you end up with that same slippery feeling on your hand. No slippery comments from the peanut...
