The gasket material is something I saw in a surplus store. It is round with a sticking backing. Sorry not much of a description. I like the other suggestgion about using the wax paper. Sounds like it would work well also.

To the one's who have the new Hardtop Enclosure on the 330 or 360. What do you like or dont like about it? I'm in Florida I worry that it would be too hot even with the AC. It sure looks like it would be easier for up keep instead of the curtains.

The props are Mercury Revolution that were repitched form 17" down to 15" pitch. These are the same ones I had on the F225's. I haven't even tried my 3 blade props. I just have them for spares. So I dont know even know what they will do.

I had F225's on my 330 and it ran just fine. It would run all day at 28 to 30 MPH with full load. Top speed 35. I have friends that have 250's on theirs and when we run side by side on trips I got better fuel economy with the 225's. Top speed was the same. The 33 is a great boat. You will love...

I think the new F 300's are about 40 lbs lighter per motor! I cant belive the difference in power over the F225's. The mid range acceleration is fantastic.

I have a 330 Express. Just repowered with the new F 300's. When fully loaded the lower units barely touches the water. My previous motors F 225's the were about 3 to 4 inches under.

Thanks for the reply. I have a couple of questions. What size prop do you use? What mounting hole are they on? Speed? WOT RPM . My motors arived Friday and are sitting in a box next to the boat. Maybe by the end of the week the shop can get to them to install.

Starboard is about the same weight as wood. It has been around for a while. Most new boat builders use it. Weight difference is not enough to use more fuel.

I have seen a guy that has a simular problem. He had his top so it would lay down to get under a bridge when he had to. Then put it back up when gone thru. It proably would be cheaper than getting a new bimini and canvas. Many boats have towers that fold back to trailer. Just a idea??
