I found that an 1,100gal Rule pump would keep my baits in better condition than the 800gal one I had. Just food for thought for when the pump needs to be replaced again. Good luck.

Keep in mind most guys do not change out the hoses since they are generally not 100% accessible. But the thru hull should be done the correct way. We all moan about what a pain it is but once replaced with new metal fittings, you're done..period.! Good luck with it.

Sorry I would not know.. I have rigged up several 232 hulls w/ the 997 ducer but all were bracketed. Stay away from the plastic thru hulls..as I am sure you would agree. Good luck.

You can do it no problem. The stripping w/ 80 grit is very dusty and very toxic. Make sure to use a very good respirator not just the N95 type. And do it outside. Interlux has a good system to get the job done from etch to top coat to antifoul for the bottom half of the bracket. Good luck...
