First -- Find a product called PB Blaster. SOAK the screws and repeat at least 3 times. When your ready try TIGHTENING --- Yes I said tightening the screws slightly -- them try backing them out. I'd go with the air driven drill rather than a hand crank drill if you need to go that way.

That is where mine as well as ALL others I've seen sit. It helps add support to the unit. I would be discussing this with whoever did the work. Ask for a complete explanation as to why it is "High" instead of on top of the bracket.

I purchased both replacement senders from them and they came with gaskets. Be sure to check the screws -- the ones that came with mine were meteric, NOT SAE as are in the original sender. Be SURE to align the gasket perfectly to the holes as the holes are not concentric or evenly spaced.

Do you need to add fluid to the system? If "NO" then there is still air in the system and it needs to be bled again ! Are you seeing any leakage around the mount where it goes thru the dash? I had that with mine and had to replace the outer seal.
