Paint technology has come a long way to where a boat will still shine like new for a very long time. Check out Viking yachts, they offer colored hullsides and their boats always look gorgeous for years and years.

Considering the poster paid top dollar for this boat he has every right to expect those motors to ride above the waterline. GW slapped on the new F350's on the same old deck design and evidently the motor wells need to be deeper so you can tilt up those taller motors more and get the skeg...

Building quality takes time instead of just slapping wood stringers together. If you've been through Intrepids factory like I have you'd see the difference in the first minute.

That is exactly right, the TRUE reason GW stays with wood stringers is because it puts more money in Eddie Smiths ( owner of GW ) pocket. And he's got his employees trained like robots to spout the corporate line everytime the question is asked, "we stick to the tried and true in boatbuilding"...
