    Be sure to check the transom for rot. If those are the original gas tanks then you need to really check them out also. Good chance that there are problems with both unless it's really been cared for.

    If water came out when you drilled a hole then you have a wet transom. This isn't the way it should be. You need to have it looked at before something tragic happens.

    Is this in the bottom of the boat?? I always thought that this was solid glass without wood. If it were me I would have someone very knowledgeable check this area as well as the transom for moisture and rot. The last thing you want to do is ignore the problem.

    I would choose ethanol free fuel and adding Ringfree. The ethanol free gas to avoid the moisture problems and ringfree to combat carbon buildup. Keep in mind that these are two different issues.

    Let the curtains warm up in the sun. I'll be the cloudiness will disappear. I also use Plexus and its a great product.

    I also use the Harbor Freight buffer. You really can't beat the price. Just make sure you purchase some good pads.

    ... don't forget the fuel/water separator filter. Just changed mine Saturday and there was no water in the gas. :D

    I am a big believer in using Ringfree in my Yamaha 2s. 1 ounce per gallon used as a preventative measure doesn't add much to the cost of running the motor. It only adds $35-40 for over 300 gallons of fuel. For what it's worth the Chevy service manager told me that I should run a fuel...
