Where to find 1-3/8" gunnel mounts?

Lee's used to make a 1-3/8" set of screw together 18' poles. According to the email they sent me, they discontinued them a couple years back. They still make 1-3/8" center riggers though.

Anyone use those slick guides on their bunk trailers

I think I know what you're talking about. My dads bunk trailer has what looks like real thick and flat PVC with grooves cut in them, running the whole length of the bunks. They are very slick and his 25' Proline slides right off. I'll see if I can find a link to what I'm talking about. They came...

Where to find 1-3/8" gunnel mounts?

I picked up some Lee 1-3/8" outriggers over the weekend. Unfortunately, my boat has 1-1/4" tunnel mounts. I cannot find anywhere that has 1-3/8" bases or the 45° rod ends. I emailed Lee's and they pretty much said I'm out of luck. Anyone know where to find these? Thanks, Chris.

LED cabin lighting and under water stern lights

I would love to get transom lights myself for night fishing. I'm with you 100%. I just can't bring myself to drill a couple 2" holes in my transom. Especially below the waterline.

LED cabin lighting and under water stern lights

This might sound stupid, but it'll save you a ton of money. I'm getting ready to do this on my boat. Go to Walmart. Head to the car section. There, you'll find strips of LED lighting for $12. They are flexibleand covered in some kind of fflexible polyurethane. They're made for sticking to your...

    Bottom Paint Removal?

Thanks for the replies, guys. My sandblaster is a pressurized tank, just like all the soda blasters I've seen in the interwebs. And I have an 80gal. compressor that keeps up with it just fine. But, if soda is costly, then I might have to pass on that idea. Trying to keep a budget. I don't mind...

    Bottom Paint Removal?

I bought a 228 Seafarer a few weeks ago. The anti-fouling paint that's on it is pretty ugly. Since I plan on keeping the boat on a trailer, I want the bottom paint off. Is there a safe way of removing it without damaging the gelcoat? I've seen the brush on gel, but I've heard that it can damage...

    The New Guy

Awesome. I actually lucked out with this one. The last owner had a brand new transom professionally installed. Can't even tell where the old ends and the new begins. He gave me some if the old transom that came out of it. It had a 4 cylinder OMC. When he had the transom replaced, he upgraded to...

    The New Guy

Oh yea, I know what I'm in for. I've owned my fair share of boats over the years. Just glad to finally get me a Grady. Even though she's old, she's in excellent shape. It ran awesome today. I couldn't have been happier. It really doesn't NEED anything right now, but I will be upgrading a few...

    The New Guy

Should be real fun in the snow and wind. I won't be leaving the Elizabeth River though. I just have the fever to get out on the water again. Plus I want to see how well she handles, what kind of mileage she gets, how fast it planes, etc. I never took it on a sea trial before I bought it. The...

    The New Guy

Hey everyone, my name is Chris. I just acquired my first Grady last weekend. She's a 1984 Seafarer 228 with hardtop, and with a brand new throttle body injected Chevy 5.0 and Mercruiser Alpha 1 Gen 2. This boat was kept in tip top shape. The teak even looks like it's been well oiled over it's...
