    Length of control cables

The cables that are in the boat now should have numbers on them indicating length. Assuming your not on a bracket? Try not to go with anything longer than what you need, don't want loose coils floppin' around. Pretty sure when I did mine they were 17 or 18'. You can get a measurement by...

richie, what I think he's planning on doing is getting the first layer of plywood in place and letting that cure fully because of his time constraints, probably no glass in between. Are you saying that you do not get a chemical bond if a layer has cured before the next layer is applied? sfc...

A week between layers should give you plenty of cure time even in the cooler temps. One thing I used to do was to store my West products indoors overnite so they would be ready to go asap. Winter in the water in NH?

Snow weight pushing the scuppers below waterline would be a concern. Obviously need to keep surrounding water from freezing and so on. Not that it can't be done but comes with a whole new set of precautions. Best to talk to the locals who do this regularly.

    Floor drain

I've re-done damn near everything, most of which is posted hear. Do you know how to use the search function? Those drains can be deceiving, thought mine were ok too until they broke. If they are original I would strongly recommend replacing with stainless.

Don't know off hand actual dimensions but your numbers seem like more than enough. Check those numbers against the space on the boat. Do you still have the plastic thru hull drains for the fish boxes?

    Transom Repair - South Jersey

When I did my transom what I did was epoxy pvc tubes in those locations. Done right you never haver to worry about them again. pvc can be epoxied, you just need to sand down the outside surface to make it porous.

    Transom Repair - South Jersey

That caulking is only good for so long and yes that is a problem. But so are the bronze drain tubes that corrode away after a few years, these often go overlooked, especially the garboard drain.
