Have a 2005 226.My Horns stopped working,I just took them apart cleaned the contacts up,added some Di-electric grease and they work like new.

He was a Smart Guy!!! Now days it's alot more!! LOL..

I put a 840XS in mine,2005 226 Seafarer..Was going to try a 1040XS,but I made a cardboard template and it would not work for me.I thought about cutting the bracket down to get the 1040 to fit but didn't go that way....

There should be No movement at all in the Transom,even with a 400 lb. Guy jumping on the Engines..

Jut get a new wheel with the knob already on it.I went with a 13'' Ongaro Wheel on My Seafarer.Couldn't be happier.Had a 13'' on My Hydra-Sport for years,only paid a bit over a $100.00 for it.Never had a problem with it..

Hey Guys,Have a 2005 226 Seafarer..There is no Seal on the Livewell Lid and I'm tired of Sea Water sloshing over in My Cooler.Went to look at a 2001 226 for a Friend and it had a nice Gasket on the Livewell Lid.Anyone know where I could get this?? Was it Factory installed at one time or is mine...

If You planning on selling it,I'd try and find a good later model used Yamaha and put on it..You'll never recoup anywhere near the $8K...

J ,Did Ken say anything to ya' about raising the Engines up with the Rev-4's? The Rev-4's like to run high...Just a thought.

The Barrels are empty.There to keep the Boat afloat if if went back down,most likely to help keep it upright..

Hey Brian,Remember me? Helped You out with Your Jeep Cherokee many years ago..LOL...Not sure it would work,The older Seafarer's had the different Cap than the newer ones.I know it's only a Motor,Wiper Arm and Blade..Don't see how it wouldn't work,I guess...Maybe someone will chime in..[Mike]

Have a 2005 226 Seafarer that does not have the optional Wiper on the Passenger side. Has anyone added this to theirs? Is there a Kit to do it it,or do You have to buy pieces individually? Thanks!!
