    help with lettering

Is there a Grady dealer near you? Go with a tape measure in your pocket. If they don't have a 275, something close will give you Ideas. There's gotta be a boat show coming through sometime this winter / spring. Same deal. Show up with a measure and even some pre-printed letters. There may even...

    Twist turn button

I think I understand what you're looking for. The strap that hangs down and used when you roll up the curtain pivots at the point where it attaches to the curtain. I'm pretty sure it's as simple as a riveted snap or riveted twist lock similar to the above. The rivet allows the strap to turn...

New Owner Sailfish 274 Bow Pulpit Smaller Slip fee Mod

Might work. You would have to secure chain to keep it from flopping around. We all know windlasses and anchor lockers let in an awful lot of rain water, a hawse pipe is wide open though. Could present a problem.

New Owner Sailfish 274 Bow Pulpit Smaller Slip fee Mod

I store my fishing anchor, a Danforth style , in a Windline anchor holder on my bow rail. Eliminate the roller all together. you would have to attach the rode to use it but I guess it depends on how much you anchor and if it's worth the extra slip fee...

New Owner Sailfish 274 Bow Pulpit Smaller Slip fee Mod

Does the marina you're moving to measure LOA with engines raised. Mine does. I don't know the exact length of a 274, but it seems to me that even with the pulpit removed it would measure more than 28.5 feet to the tip of the skeg. Even with the pulpit removed, the anchor will still stick out a...

    Off season rod storage

Never seen any deflection issues from storing them horizontally. Most of my rods are on the heavier side of the scale but even the light rods have no issues. And they hang down there for 5+ months a years. As far as the storing Plano trays... The area under the bait prep sink holds 4. I use...

Ky - Nice collection. In my basement, overhead, hanging from the joists on inexpensive rod hangers. All my Plano trays are down there too. After the holidays, during our Ice Age, I'll start replacing some line and lubing up the reels. I'll go through my trays and figure out what I need...

    Button latch

I think he's looking for the pull that you use to lift the door after you unlatch. It's about the size of a nickel and is loose enough to get your fingers under and lift the lid. I will poke around the Interweb later.

Gas odor after running twin 350's

You should be able to locate any fuel leak using your eyes and nose. At the dock with the cowling off, as stated, pump the bulb til hard and get in there and look around. wipe down dirty / oily surfaces with a rag. Use a flash light. Run the motor. Rev it up with the neutral lock depressed. 10...

Gas odor after running twin 350's

Just a thought on this... The fuel line exits the wall in the splash well area and enters the rigging tube going to the engine where your primer bulb is located. That's how mine is rigged. There could be a leak in that line from chaffing when you put the engine up and down and it manifests...

    456 Canyon is enormous

Along with the standard bow thruster, it comes with a standard Helm Master and standard Seakeeper. I think docking in 2 to 3's would be easy and comfortable! LOL!

    Need Help With Bimini Enclosure

No, don't think so. If you are talking mostly about the snaps and dots that connect the canvas to the windshield frame, they should slide left/right a little if to make easier to put up. You may have to gently persuade them.
