I can't help but think that either will be underpowered with a 150. I'm about to repower my 208 with the Yamaha 200 i4 4 stroke. It will be replacing a ymaha 225 2 stroke salt water and a 9.9hp yamaha kicker and will weigh less than that combo.

If you can work with wood here is a source of teak. http://www.woodworkerssource.com/teak.html Ipe and Jatoba will work and look like teak if you find those easier to get.

I just got my tool from West Marine and easily replaced the snaps on my cushions. Just a word of caution...make sure you put the right snap (male or female) where it belongs. They're a little tougher to remove.

I have an Adventure 208 with a Yamaha 225 2 stroke. THe kicker is a 9.9 yamaha and it get me up to 6.5 at WOT under calm conditions. The fuel line is from the main tank. I don't think you want to troll at 4 mph with a 2-stroke.

I've gotten some grease on my vinyl (luckily not on my Grady). What's the best way to remove it without ruining the vinyl. My owners manual says not to put anything on it except Ivory dish soap. Guess what....it didn't budge. Any other ideas?

The kicker on my 208 is tied into the same fuel source. Not sure where I'd put a second fuel tank at this time. I'm just very careful to use EtOH-free fuel.

Assuming you checked the fuse first. If you have a wire at the horn is there any way you can attach a new wire to it and pull it through?

I was able to fit my radio in the glove box next to the VHF radio and speakers by my feet facing the bulkhead. YOu're right...sounds great there. Hardest part was getting the speaker wires from the box to the speaker.
