Helm chair back rest. 1st pic after a scrubbing with soft scrub then the SEM pre treatment schedule. 2nd pic three coats of paint from SEM off white. Not bad. Going to do all cushions on my 268.

No plumbing in place only the drains at the bottom of each well.

Just FYI you’re not supposed to put gelcoat over epoxy. Stay away from marine Tex in repairs like this. Gelcoat and poly filler best used here.

Thanks. I also have the port stern box but it’s just a drop in “bucket” no pump or plumbing. Very small about 5-10 gallon or so. Does anyone have the forward ones plumbed? Or is it just the stern? Also, how do the insulated ones hold ice? Any good or should I count on using a cooler? Thanks.

New to me 1999 Islander. Apparently ordered without pumps and plumbing to the livewell and fish boxes. How are the plumbed from Grady and how do you guys use them ? Is it worth putting in a pump or do they not work that well to begin with? Also, I spent this morning clearing the drains...

Probably one of the easiest upgrades you can do on a boat, I say go for it! Pretty soon you'l be changing your own waterpumps and diagnosing problems.

A little heat and persuasion got it free. Now to fab up a handle, should work fine. Not buying parts for this , this boat is going low budget.

New to Grady white boats. The chair below is from a 1999 Islander 268 Who makes it? Todd, Wise, Grelick, etc. And is the tension device available? This one frozen and knob cracked off.

Personally I would stick with the OX66 if it is still running good.

Yeah, but this boat will be doing a lot of island hopping with kids swimming off the back and hanging out. I don’t want stuff cluttering up the swim platform area. I like the clean install of flush mounts.

The cup holder drain line just routes right to the bilge anyway. I agree with keeping the water off the batteries.

I put the 650 in my Tiara couples to Simrad Evo3, 8” speakers in cockpit 6” on the bridge deck. Sounds great. Can Bluetooth from phone and even have an iPod hooked up.
