Orca, I'm very surprised it worked at all. The Termination resisters are required for the system to work, one at each end of the network. That's weird... Anyway, glad your on your way...

There should be an orange wire off the switch that will either have an in-line 20A fuse, or may run to a 20A breaker. Check that...

Those little extra bits of foam are, unfortunately, not just a GW problem. Most hull riggers are real lazy when cleaning up the mess they leave behind. Also, rarely is a cleanliness QC check done before the boat is decked.

We used to do Panda 3s on our 29...no problem. Switched over to Westerbeke 3s so we didn't need the diesel tank, and all the control boxes that come with the Panda...

I'd go along with CB, I'm betting a bilge alarm... But, since nothing is running, it's getting it's power from somewhere...

Joe, The "thumb-screw (knob)" keeps it from rotating. The ratcheting lever is your fore/aft adjustment. Are you saying the lever is not engaging?
