    I have a 250 SWSII on my 24 explorer, not sure if its the same hull but if it isn't its damn close, I wish I had more power, infact when I go to repower next spring if I can swing it im gonna try to move up to the 300, I think the weight of the newer 4s have come down close to what the 250 two...

    Similar to J-Sea, I tend to fish only good days, between the 40-70 mile range, if I can find a buddy we buddy boat to add the extra level of comfort we double up.     insurance companies are cheap, the won't let him take it to the most expensive shop, they don't want to pay anymore then u do. Wonder if it works like an uninsured motorist and he would just be on the hook for the deductible

    If it were me I'd just buy 20ft of tape and replace it right, your always gonna see the silicone under the tape vs the smooth hull under the other parts
