    Can a hard top be made that folds down?

    I think you could but you would probably loose a lot of structural integrity, if you did I bet you'd find out it was loose when pounding, accompanied by lots of rattles. Not to mention it would have to be light to manually fold, forgoing the fiberglass top, radar, etc. Just thinking aloud here...

    Yup I was also looking for a more commercial or workboat look. It's as easy to put down as the videos on youtube described. I kept the lines of the non-skid rather then painting everything, I at least figured that it would help with "channels" between the new textured grip and the fiberglass...

    Same setup but I have a 2-stroke 250...never had an issue with keeping it trimmed with factory trim tabs..I'm gonna post next time I have a min I did a whole bunch of upgrades on my explorer this winter...love the boat..not many people own them..best I can figure they weren't popular, limited...

    What fenders do you use?

    I use Taylor Made round mooring balls as bumpers..they work great...bit of a pain to stow..I also have a pair that are cleated to the dock that are there perminently so when I come in I dont have to mess with them.
