When I had the enclosure on my Marlin redone I opted for Stamoid - I just prefer the look and color. I think the maintenance is a bit easier that Sunbrella canvas as well and since I went with a cream color there is no noticable fading either. Great material.

That does look sweet. Is that Flexi-teak?

Here is how I did mine Audiovox with built in DVD. Sound plays through the speakers on the boat and the video is output to the Navnet at the helm also.

FWIW - The price from my dealer was pretty much the same as the local canvas guys.

We saw that 33 and thought the same thing, ugly. However the sight lines from the helm and openess they created were phenomenal. So, as long as you never look at your boat from the outside you should be very happy. In terms of heat etc. I believe it had ac at the helm.

Thinking about building and installing a rocket launcher in my Marlin cockpit. Is there a 'preferred' location and mounting method for the floor plate? Any other considerations before I start purchasing the lumber etc.?

I had a similar situation and needed the replace the two washers inside the spray nozzle. Cost less than fifty cents. Cheapest fix I ever had on my boat. YMMV

Didn't Grady have a resin problem in the eighties? I seem to recall an issue with bad chemicals that led to them doing major hull repairs on the road - they actually went to the boats to do repairs instead of bringing the boats to them - while shutting down manufacturing - or did I completely...

Ditto on the Coastnoghtlights- I have the spreaders and green UWs - the spreaders are better IMO than the factory halogens. Lighter, smaller, less draw and as much or more light.
