The Newport boat show is back this weekend I think ill be heading up there this afternoon, its always fun to board new boats and see what kind of new features they come out with. If the weather holds I may take my grady!

i have to weigh in on this one as well. I purchased a 265 this past year and have been running the hell out of the boat these past few months. If there is one major complaint it is that the boat is WAY TO TRIM SENSITIVE. i find myself constantly trying to trim the boat to keep her level right...

changed the metal filter after the vst tank and sure enough im back in action. Both motors are turning up to 5200! problem solved

ok here is the update. I hauled the boat last friday afternoon and began to take all the components off the back of the motor to gain access to the outer exhaust cover. I removed the cover and gasket and replaced it with a brand new cover and gasket. i also put a new poppet valve, cover, and...

this sounds like a vst filter issue. Time to change the vst filter. this is a common issue for a lot of people myselft included. Had the same issue: 4800rpm the motor would knock down to like 4200 then it wuld be ok. its a fuel dilivery problem at high rpm which 9 times out of 10 is a vst issue
