you need the r399 for that. It actually picks them up and puts them in your livewell without moving a finger... :lol:

i dont think the install is fine. Read the instructions for the m260 or r199. it says to install aft very near the engines. I have the same problem while turning on the r199. This has been discussed at tht if you search for r199. the m260 is a very good transducer as long as it is intalled how...

i have the r199. put it as far back as possible for sure on the side of the boat where the props make water go downward...

Re: Plates I messed with the controls and I found out that they are not very intuitive. You definetely need to RTFM... if you hold keys for two long you go into places that manuals dont explain...

I called Grady and they are still recommending the transducer in the aft berth bilge. They said the factory boat has it there and that the engineers say thats where it should go... That being said I looked in the generator aft bilge compartment and it looks like a bit of surgery is required...

There is many things you could have done, like switching Fahrenheit to Celsius which would read negative. You could have gone into service mode and changed a few other things. you need to get the manual and start over...

Thanks for all of the input guys. I have seen a 33 out of Pirates Cove with the tower. It has a custom top on it. I have never seen the 36 with a tower except the pictures posted in this thread. That tower from Baush is mightty expensive considering this size boat... The local welding shop...

Hi All is the hull bottom solid fiberglass on the larger gradys? any coring or foam? I am trying to place a in-hull transducer in the back 1/3 of the boat and I cannot place it on top of any wood or air bubbles. I was told gradys are 100% fiberglass bottoms. Thanks

after a power wash of the bottom of the boat mine always read 30-37mph when going 5-10 mph. what do i need to clean out on a trip yam 250 config?
