    eisenglas/canvas

Do you mind ballparking the price? I've got a 2000 228 and my eisenglass may have had it--was going to use existing full curtains as templates at local marine upholsterer but I'd love a Grady company to do it if its anywhere close to the same price Thanks

    Helm seats

Those look intriguing---questions 1. Looks like less room between seat and helm---even less than my Grady ladder back originals 2. With seat back flipped-other way--how far back are you sitting? Looks like it may be lower than the ladder back

    Grady 228 Repower

Thanks===In hindsight, I think the factory mounted OX66 225 was a little underpowered on the the 226/228 hull. Not sure what the fuel curves were back in 1999/2000 with the OX66 being the primo outboard at the time but I think the beautiful big heavy-girl needed the 250.

    Grady 228 Repower

It does sound like a lot but remember I went from the Yammy OX66 225 to a Suzuki 250 so increase in HP. I topped out @ 35 before. Now with just me, no curtains, 90 gallons of fuel, trimmed out on smooth water hit 47mph at 6000RPMs.

    Just Repowered My 1999 228G with a Suzuki DF250

Numbers after first 13 hours--still in break-in and dialing in how she like to ride. Only major difference I've noticed in ride/trim is with the additional weight, you can really see the trim tabs wake/quasi rooster tail now. Wilmington River, Savannah, Georgia--light breeze and little chop...

    Just Repowered My 1999 228G with a Suzuki DF250

For what it's worth, Just wanted to put it out there how pleased I am with my new motor. Went from a 1999 YAMAHA OX66 225 (which still ran smooth and reliably) to the Suzuki DF250 (white) and C-10 color monitor. Struggled mightily on the decision to leave Yamaha for the Suzuki but am extremely...

    226 new upholstery

I concur completely with B8CASTR. I have also removed my inboard armrests from the deluxe helm seats as it was a tight squeeze and the armrests had a penchant of snagging tshirts.
