mine are also located on my 1999 G.S. there are locatd in the rear..Mine also went out and I asked the GW Mech when I got my goat back from having some service done.

You should add They have a roller that helps the keel slide and helps the boat load a bit easiar..not sure what you call it...

Up Date I've spoken with two other authorized Yamaha delaers and they were told it's better to keep the tanks low or empty..... :roll:

I have a 1999 23' Gulfstream....it sat for 3 months because of a family member's health issues ( they are fine now Thank God ) It ran fine before. I added 80 gallons of fresh fuel and sea foam so the tanks had about 120 gallons. Well when I took it out back in the first week of Oct it ran fine...

Only if you Have friends , wife or girlfriend who will be your anchor wench...... :shock: Makes it alot easiar to bring the hook up..plus makes a greak plank to make unwanted guest walk off.

I paint mine Orange It does two things; when trailering people will not get as close to you in traffic and also when your unit is in the water you can see the lower unit area better when your around the Prop area.

Great Deal on the 23' You can find alot of boating stuff at car part places for example ( NAPA or Pep Boys ). Did you boat have bottom paint ? I would also change any Filers and Fluids. Good luck with yours. Mine was a 1999 23' 225 hp with 130 hours, $28,000......plus I had to buy a trailer...

My 2 cents I had 1989 200 yamaha on my 1989 overnighter and had Zero issues with the motor...As far as the boat depending how your going to use her....Price I think is close..look up the price on line.....Good luck.

By water The way people drive on the turn Pike and the wide trailer laws..it would be a better trip by H2O

I need help in solving this problem. I went out last week and my boat went about 400 yards befor the motor ( single 1999 225 Yamaha 2 stroke ) cut off. It wouldn't turn over like it was out of fuel. I Thought the problem might be water in the fuel. I had just put 70 gallons in my main...
