    Aux. motor fuel line?

I plumbed mine from the Racor filter mount. No problems with siphoning off main engine.

    Engine Uh Oh......

The bottle has ratioes to mix listed. I use it in all my engines. Keeps fuel system clean. I'm a believer. Same with Yamaha Ring Free Plus.

Might want to consider adding SeaFoam to your fuel.

    QUESTIONS--Towing a 208 w- a Grand Cherokee

Did you find the 'Tow' button? On my Dodge Ram it's on the tip end of the shift stick on the steering column. I think mine says, 'Overdrive off'. I installed electric brakes on my trailer, but I'm in fresh water.

ADVICE ON MOUTING A MERC 15HP KICKER ON A 232 GULFSTREAM

Apparently, your kicker does not have power tilt / trim, correct? Might want to communicate with that west coast bracket maker. I wonder if you could install a Panther lift onto a welded aluminum bracket. Are you hoping to align your cavitation plate with bottom of hull when trolling?

    Tournament 192 Kicker and Downriggers

I put a Yamaha T8 kicker on my Escape 209. I went with a welded aluminum bracket from the the guy above and got the T8 with power trim and tilt. Works well and no worries about a bouncing bracket or loss of the kicker.

When is it time to replace gas tank?

My GW Escape 209 ( 1993 ), has spent it's whole life in fresh water. ( Great Lakes ). I do see the black slimy stuff, which I clean thru my access plates. What do you guys think of a 19 year old gas tank used in fresh water? I get no water in my Racor filter w/clear bowl. Fuel fill and lines...

    Drain plug seized

I never looked for marine grade teflon tape. The official name for that drain set-up is 'Garboard drain'. Your old one looks like an ancient Mayan artifact. Any water logged wood inside where assembly came out? Suggest that you dry area and coat inside of hole with epoxy.

    Drain plug seized

The brass drain plug at the bottom of the transom? For stuck threads I use PB Blaster and let it soak awhile. I also use teflon tape when installing plug. I'm surprised bronze to bronze would seize. I'm in fresh water though. Good luck.

ADVICE ON MOUTING A MERC 15HP KICKER ON A 232 GULFSTREAM

I would get ahold of this guy. He did mine for an Escape 209 on starboard side. I bet he could do a bracket that allows removal of swim platform SS brace and bolt platform back onto new bracket.

    Adding a 2nd engine

I put a Yamaha T8 kicker on my 1993 Escape 209. Main use is trolling for salmon, but it will get me home. I'm on northern Great Lakes.

Mounting 4-Stroke on transom of 92' 24 ft Explorer

I suggest you email Grady White customer service with specs on proposed 4 stroke. (esp. weight). They will be helpful. I went thru same thing when I repowered my 1993 Escape 209. (I installed 200 HPDI) Have your hull # handy. I also suggest a thorough transom inspection to look for any water...

I repowered my 1993 Escape 209 5 or 6 years ago. I took Parthery's advice re: 200 HPDI. I'm glad I did, very glad. Thanks Parthery
