Check out the Yamaha T8 High-Thrust. Have mine mounted on the starboard side of transom on an Escape 209 (1993).

A thru hull is a hole in the boat that either allows water to drain out or allows water intake from a pump. Live well intake on Grady's is that raised bronze screen on the very bottom of the boat. Should be a 'shut-off' in the bilge for the live well water intake.

I have an Escape 209 so I'm not familiar with your battery layout. But I don't think water around battery is good. First, GET A WORKING BILGE PUMP ASAP! Also, pull drain plug and find a steep hill to park on. You may have water hanging out up front that doesn't drain when on trailer...

Too much engine weight? What engine do you have? Weight of engine? Maybe a wet transom? Any thru-hulls on bottom of boat?

Did you try Grady-White customer service? They have a good email response service.

A local boat canvas shop would be a 'custom cover' maker. Take boat to them, they work with you to get exactly what you want.

You can contact Grady-White direct.(Include hull#). Can you measure from inside? Are you talking about the scuppers? (With external flaps?)

Replaced complete lower unit on F100 Yamaha. Has similar squeak...maybe the same bushing problem?

I don't think a few seconds would hurt. When was waterpump impeller changed last? Waterpump rebuild is fairly easy to DIY. Are you winterizing soon?
