I have an Advance 247 with a soft t-top. the frame that holds the canvass on has a block of vinyl that is screwed into the alum frame the gps antenna base is mounted onto the block and the antenna is then mounted to the antenna base.

Bet the car was stolen. :(

My boat w/ twin 150's and my neighbor's w/twin 150's both had plastic. all 4 arms broke the same yr (2 & 3 yrs old). Yamaha now makes metal. If the swing arm sticks use T-9 or wd-40 and work the spring on the pivot arm for a little while and it will free up. I have to do that every year.

Does your boat have a bracket ? If so does it have water in it? My old 232GT had that problem.

That stinks, I purchased 2 of my last 3 Grady's from them and there service dept was great. It was a guy store. Wait till we see the prices at West Marine go up AGAIN. :(

I use Pledge (lemon) smells nice on the glass but I use surf board wax on the zippers and snaps. Works great on outriggers also keeps water out.
